Capital and Endowment Gifts
Lincoln Park Zoo is committed to providing expert care for its animals. The corporate community plays a key role in enhancing exhibits and supporting the endowment, ensuring that the nation's oldest zoo is enjoyed by future generations.

Project Focus—The South Pond Enhancement Project

Lincoln Park Zoo is working with corporate partners and community leaders to recreate Lincoln Park's South Pond as a green oasis in the  heart of the city. New boardwalks and natural pond vegetation will provide a tranquil setting for evening strolls, while native plants will provide habitats for local animals and mobile “citizen science” labs will enable visitors to understand how local water choices can impact the health of the entire Great Lakes watershed.

Peoples Gas, Kemper HSBC-North America, BP, Johnson Controls, Bank of America, Brinson Foundation, Segal Family Foundation and CNA have all contributed to making this vision a reality. Naming opportunities and other partnership possibilities remain for corporations dedicated to expanding the city's green spaces.

Matching Gifts
Employees can double or triple the value of their donations to Lincoln Park Zoo through a company matching gift program. Corporate matching gifts provide significant operating support for the zoo and increase awareness for your company.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts
A tribute or memorial gift is a thoughtful way to honor employees while supporting the zoo. Special recognition is offered for gifts of $5,000 and above, including the dedication of benches, gardens and buildings.

Corporate Volunteer Program
Volunteering boosts employee morale and promotes team building. Corporate volunteers assist with gardening, ZooLights and other events. The zoo’s volunteer coordinator and the Corporate Partners staff can arrange a corporate volunteer day for your company or an ongoing corporate volunteer project.
