My Kind of Zoo
Every Gift Makes a Difference
Lincoln Park Zoo is the oldest zoo in North America – and
that means when you support My Kind of Zoo, you join an ever-growing
philanthropic community with a long and proud history. And
there are almost as many ways to give to the Campaign as there
are species of animals at the zoo.
In addition to outright gifts, Campaign contributions may be fulfilled
through life income trusts, bequests, life insurance or other planned
giving. With commemorative gifts, you may perpetuate a legacy of
philanthropy in your name or the name of someone else close to
you.
Help Secure the Future of Everybody’s Zoo
The zoo is becoming even better through My Kind of Zoo. Now
is an exciting and purposeful time as exhibits are renovated and
built, the grounds are made more beautiful, new programs are launched
and the zoo embarks on conservation initiatives at home and around
the world. The zoo needs the support of all who care about
its future.
Your gift will become part of an endowment fund that will be invested
to create a permanent source of support for the zoo for generations
to come. In recognition of your generosity, your name, or that
of someone you wish to honor, can have a permanent place at the
zoo. A special Giving Wall in the new Pritzker Family Children’s
Zoo will feature donor names inscribed on bronze Bur Oak, American
Linden, Sugar Maple and American Beech leaves.
A gift of $10,000, a truly extraordinary commitment
- A beautiful bronze Bur Oak leaf will be lettered at your direction
and mounted in a prominent location on the Giving Wall.
- You and your guests will be treated
to an exclusive sleep-over inside the indoor habitat of the
new Pritzker Family Children’s
Zoo.
- You will be an honored guest at
the Gala Preview Dinner to celebrate the opening of the Children’s
Zoo.
- We will welcome you and your guests
to the Children’s
Zoo for two additional celebrations: the Children’s Day
in the Woods party and the Children’s Weekend party.

- A bronze American Linden leaf will be lettered at your direction
and mounted on the Giving Wall.
- You will receive an invitation to the not-to-be-missed Gala
Preview Dinner.

to join other devoted friends of Lincoln Park Zoo at the Children’s Day in the Woods
party and the Children’s Weekend party.
A remarkable gift of $3,000
- A bronze Sugar Maple leaf will be lettered at your direction
and mounted on the Giving Wall.
- You and your guests, small and tall,
will be invited to celebrate at the Children’s Day in the Woods party as well as the
Children’s Weekend party.
Your gift of $1,000
- An American Beech leaf will be lettered at your direction and
mounted on the Giving Wall.
